Emperor Kanishka: Kanishka was a great ruler of the Kushana dynasty. His empire stretched from Kabul in the west to Varanasi in the east. He is known for his gold coins, the fourth Buddhist Council, and the city of Kanishkapur. He supported Buddhism and had famous scholars like Ashvaghosh and Charaka in his court.

The Iron Pillar at Mehrauli: The Iron Pillar at Mehrauli near Delhi is a proof of the advanced metallurgy of ancient India. It was built during the Gupta period and has not rusted for over 1500 years. It has an inscription about a king named Chandra, believed to be Chandragupta II.
