1. Introduction

2. Grace Darling and Her Life

Early Life:

  • Grace was small in height but strong in willpower and courage.

3. The Night of the Shipwreck (6th September 1838)

  • Most passengers drowned, but nine people managed to cling to a rock.
  • The lighthouse’s noise and distance prevented Grace and her family from hearing their cries for help.

4. Grace’s Brave Decision

  • The next morning at 6 AM, Grace saw people clinging to the rocks.
  • She urged her father to rescue the survivors, but he hesitated as the storm was dangerous.
  • Her mother, Mrs. Darling, discouraged them, fearing they would drown too.
  • Grace convinced her father, saying she was strong enough to row the boat.

5. The Rescue Mission

Grace and her father rowed through enormous waves to reach the survivors.

The boat rocked violently, and the journey was extremely risky.

When they reached the rock:
