“I went quickly to my spiritual teacher for advice because I had spoken harsh and unkind words to my friend. My friend was deeply hurt, and I feared that I had lost his friendship. The teacher gave me a blank sheet of paper and told me to write all the bad things I had said. Then, he asked me to tear the paper into tiny pieces and throw them out of the window. The pieces scattered in the wind. Later, he told me to go outside and collect all the torn pieces, but I could not find a single one. My teacher then explained that spoken words are like those scattered pieces of paper-once spoken, they cannot be taken back. I realized how important it is to think before speaking, especially in anger.”


4. Translate the following sentences into your mother tongue.
