कवी सुंदर मुलीला पाहतो

  • कविता ओळ: “Today on a bus, I saw a lovely girl with silken hair; I envied her, she seemed so gay, and I wished I was so fair.”
    कवीने बसमध्ये रेशमी केस असलेल्या सुंदर मुलीला पाहिले आणि तिच्या सौंदर्याचा हेवा केला.

मुलीचे वास्तव

  • कविता ओळ: “When suddenly she rose to leave, I saw her hobble down the aisle; She had one leg and wore a crutch, but as she passed – a smile.”
    ती उभी राहिली तेव्हा कवीने पाहिले की तिचा एकच पाय आहे आणि ती काठीचा आधार घेऊन चालते.

कवीची जाणीव

  • कविता ओळ: “O God, forgive me when I whine, I have two legs, the world is mine.”
    कवीला आपली चूक लक्षात येते आणि देवाचे आभार मानतो की त्याला चालण्यासाठी दोन पाय आहेत.
