Pronoun in Hindi (सर्वनाम)

परिभाषा:
सर्वनाम उन शब्दों को कहा जाता है, जिन शब्दों का प्रयोग संज्ञा के स्थान पर करते हैं। जैसे मैं, तुम, तुम्हारा, आप, आपका, इस, उस, यह, वह, हम, हमारा, आदि।

उदाहरण:

  • मैं लिखना पसंद करती हूँ।
  • मुझे संगीत बहुत पसंद है।
  • वह कल माँ के साथ बाजार जाएगी।
  • उसने मुझे फोन किया था।
  • मेरे पास एक बुक है।

सर्वनाम के भेद:

  1. पुरूषवाचक (Personal Pronoun)
    उदाहरण: मैं, तू, वह, हम, मैंने

    • I – मैं
    • You – तुम/आप
    • He/She – वह
    • We – हम
  2. निजवाचक (Reflexive Pronoun)
    उदाहरण: आपने आप, स्वयं

    • Myself – स्वयं
    • Yourself – अपने आप
    • Themselves – अपने आप
  3. निश्चयवाचक (Demonstrative Pronoun)
    उदाहरण: यह, वह

    • This – यह
    • That – वह
    • These – ये
    • Those – वे
  4. अनिश्चयवाचक (Indefinite Pronoun)
    उदाहरण: कोई, कुछ

    • Someone – कोई
    • Something – कुछ
    • Anybody – कोई भी
    • Everyone – सभी
  5. संबंधवाचक (Relative Pronoun)
    उदाहरण: जो, सो

    • Who – जो
    • Whom – जिसे
    • Which – जो
    • That – वह
  6. प्रश्नवाचक (Interrogative Pronoun)
    उदाहरण: कौन, क्या

    • Who – कौन
    • Whom – किसे
    • What – क्या
    • Which – कौन सा

Pronoun in English

Definition:
Pronouns are words that replace or substitute nouns in a sentence. They are used to refer to people, places, things, or ideas, such as I, she, he, you, it, we, or they.

Example:

  • He is my friend.
  • This is my book, not yours.
  • These are the days that I like best.
  • He asked me to go for a bike ride.
  • I like to play chess.

Types of Pronouns:

  1. Personal Pronoun
    Pronouns that refer to specific persons or things.

    • Examples: I/me, she/her, he/him, they/them, etc.
  2. Reflexive Pronoun
    Pronouns that refer back to the subject of the sentence.

    • Examples: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves.
  3. Demonstrative Pronoun
    Pronouns that point to specific things.

    • Examples: this, that, these, those.
    • Example Sentence: “That would be a nice place to live,” they said, pointing at the large house.
  4. Indefinite Pronoun
    Pronouns that refer to non-specific persons or things.

    • Examples: one, other, none, some, anybody, everybody, someone, something.
  5. Relative Pronoun
    Pronouns that introduce relative clauses.

    • Examples: who, whom, which, that.
    • Example Sentence: These are the days that I like best.
  6. Interrogative Pronoun
    Pronouns used to ask questions.

    • Examples: who, whom, whose, what, which.
    • Example Sentence: Whose book is this?
