SSC JHT In-Hand Salary
According to the official 7th pay commission pay matrix, SSC JHT employees shall receive a monthly in-hand salary of Rs. 35,400/- as in-hand income after deduction of contributionary funds and addition of perks and allowances.

- According to the 7th Pay Commission, the Dearness Allowance is 38% of basic pay.
- Transport allowances differ depending on the posting center.

SSC JHT Age Limit & Age Relaxation
The minimum age limit is 18 years.
The maximum age limit is 30 years.

SSC JHT Nationality / Citizenship
- A candidate must be either:
- (i) a citizen of India, or
- (ii) a subject of Nepal, or
- (iii) a subject of Bhutan, or
- (iv) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- (v) Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), and (iv) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issuedto him by the Government of India.
