A Bottle of Dew – Part 1
Rama Natha, the son of a wealthy landlord, inherits large areas of land but spends no time looking after them. He believes in the idea of a magic potion that can turn objects into gold. His wife, Madhumati, is worried because he wastes money searching for this potion. One day, a sage named Mahipati visits their town. Rama Natha asks the sage about the magic potion, and to his surprise, the sage says he knows about it.
The sage tells Rama Natha that he must plant banana plants, water them with his hands, and collect the dew from the leaves during winter. Once Rama Natha collects five liters of dew, the sage will chant magic words to turn it into the potion. Rama Natha is worried that this will take years, but the sage encourages him to plant as many banana plants as possible.
Rama Natha begins working hard on his land, planting banana plants and collecting dew with the help of his wife. Over the years, they sell the bananas in the market, and after six years, Rama Natha finally collects the five liters of dew. He takes it to the sage, but when he tries to turn a copper vessel into gold, nothing happens. Feeling cheated, he confronts the sage.
The sage smiles and explains that there is no magic potion. The wealth Rama Natha has gained came from his hard work and the banana plantation. The sage tricked him to show him the value of hard work. Rama Natha realizes the truth and continues to work diligently on his plantation, understanding that hard work is the real key to success, not magic.
This story teaches the lesson that dedication and effort are the true paths to success, and relying on shortcuts or magic is not the answer.

एक बोतल ओस की कहानी में रामनाथा, जो एक धनी ज़मींदार का बेटा है, बहुत सारी ज़मीन का वारिस होता है लेकिन वह अपनी ज़मीन का ध्यान नहीं रखता। उसे एक जादुई औषधि के बारे में जानकारी चाहिए होती है जो चीजों को सोने में बदल सके। उसकी पत्नी मधुमती इस बात से चिंतित रहती है क्योंकि रामनाथा इस जादुई औषधि को खोजने में बहुत सारा पैसा बर्बाद कर रहा होता है।
एक दिन एक साधु महिपति उनके गांव आता है। रामनाथा साधु से उस जादुई औषधि के बारे में पूछता है, और साधु उसे कहता है कि वह इसके बारे में जानता है। साधु उसे सलाह देता है कि वह केले के पौधे लगाए और सर्दियों में उनके पत्तों से ओस इकट्ठा करे। जब वह पांच लीटर ओस इकट्ठा कर लेगा, तब साधु जादुई मंत्र से इसे औषधि में बदल देगा। रामनाथा सोचता है कि इसमें कई साल लगेंगे, लेकिन साधु उसे ज़्यादा से ज़्यादा केले के पौधे लगाने की सलाह देता है।
रामनाथा कड़ी मेहनत से अपनी ज़मीन पर केले के पौधे लगाना शुरू कर देता है और अपनी पत्नी की मदद से ओस इकट्ठा करता है। सालों तक वे केले बेचते हैं और छह साल बाद, रामनाथा पांच लीटर ओस इकट्ठा करता है। वह साधु के पास जाता है और जादुई औषधि से एक तांबे के बर्तन को सोने में बदलने की कोशिश करता है, लेकिन कुछ नहीं होता।
रामनाथा खुद को ठगा हुआ महसूस करता है और साधु से जवाब मांगता है। साधु मुस्कुराता है और समझाता है कि कोई जादुई औषधि नहीं है। असली धन रामनाथा की मेहनत से आया है, जो उसने केले के बाग़ में किया। साधु ने उसे मेहनत की अहमियत सिखाने के लिए यह तरीका अपनाया था। रामनाथा को यह सच्चाई समझ में आती है और वह मेहनत से काम करता रहता है, यह जानकर कि असली सफलता मेहनत में है, जादू में नहीं।
कहानी हमें यह सिखाती है कि मेहनत और समर्पण ही असली सफलता की कुंजी हैं, और किसी शॉर्टकट या जादू पर भरोसा करना सही रास्ता नहीं है।
