अंत में गेरार्ड बिना हिंसा के उस अपराधी को पकड़वा देता है। यह नाटक सिखाता है कि संकट की घड़ी में समझदारी, शांति और तीव्र बुद्धि से किसी भी मुश्किल स्थिति पर विजय पाई जा सकती है।
