SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of the SBI Clerk exam are mainly about two pre-requisites:

SBI Clerk Educational Qualifications

He/she must hold a valid graduation degree (UG) in any discipline from a  recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificates should ensure that the date of passing the IDD. Note: Candidates in the final year/semester of their graduation may also apply for the SBI Clerk exam. If provisionally selected, they will be required to produce proof of having passed their graduation examination.

SBI Clerk Age Limit

Not below 20 years and not above 28 years, i.e. the candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1997 and not later than 01.04.2005 (both days inclusive).

SBI Clerk Application Fee

The category-wise fee structure for the SBI Clerk online application is given below. The application fee for the SBI Exam is Rs. 750/- for the General category and NIL for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD category as mentioned in SBI Clerk Notification. Fee/Intimation charges once paid will NOT be refunded on any account nor can they be held in reserve for any other examination or selection. The application fee must be paid online itself.

SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) Selection Procedure

For the selection to the post of Clerical Cadre through the SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) exam, candidates are selected through two phases of exams- SBI Clerk Prelims and SBI Clerk Mains exam followed by Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT). All candidates must clear both phases to secure the appointment letter from SBI. There is no provision for Inter Circle Transfer / Inter State Transfer for Junior Associates to be recruited.

Note- Trained apprentices of SBI may be given weightage in the Main Examination by awarding 2.5% of the maximum marks
(i.e. 5 marks out of 200 marks) as bonus marks.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern

To crack the  SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) exam it is very important to know the exam pattern in and out. Here is the exam pattern for the SBI Clerk Prelims, SBI Clerk Mains, and LLPT exam: As per the official notification released by SBI, “No minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects are prescribed”. Thus,  there will not be any sectional cut-off for this year’s SBI Junior Associates Recruitment Online Examination. However, the criteria solely lie within the hands of the organisation.
