Elbe beach, Reeperbahn, trendy Schanzenviertel and multicultural Altona – Hamburg is not only diverse in terms of its neighbourhoods, but also in terms of its residents. A diverse neighborhood, the central location of the campus, the economic and cultural offerings – there are many points that make our campus in Hamburg an attractive place for students from abroad to study here. The economic strength of the metropolitan region and its continuous growth make the Hanseatic city one of the largest economic, commercial, cultural, and logistics centers in North-West Europe. Our students benefit from the numerous cooperations with internationally renowned agencies, publishing houses, and companies we are partnering with. The historic campus building is only a few minutes away from ‘Altona’ railway station and, thanks to the imposing cross vaults, bright courtyard, and modern facilities, our campus is always leaving some lasting impressions – not only to our students.

In this melting pot, the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) opened its new campus back in 2014. Since then, we’ve created a center for our national and international students and teachers.

Located between ‘Potsdamer Platz’ and ‘Anhalter Bahnhof’, in the hip district of Kreuzberg, the Berlin campus offers the ideal link to life in the big city. Once you leave the campus, you step into the fast-paced, creative and big city lifestyle with a number of cafés, bars, restaurants, museums, and historical sites all within walking distance. Also, the headquarters of many large international companies are in the immediate vicinity, such as the Axel Springer media group. The nearest shopping mall is just a few streets away. All corners of Berlin are easily accessible via the excellent public transportation network.
Innovative & Modern Facilities
Business thinking, drawing, scribbling, and programming spread over close to 7,000 square feet. All our students can use our large photo and radio studios as well as the green screen and animation studios. Spaces for creative and entrepreneurial projects, for example, our founders’ workshop and exhibition areas, are available to students on our campus. In addition, there are a big patio space, cafeteria, library, auditorium, and study areas.

UE Innovation Hub (near Berlin)
Our Innovation Hub is located on the site of the SAP Think Campus, which is currently being developed into a technology centre in the Berlin region. The university location is therefore in close proximity to companies that are pioneers in the fields of technology, data and design. This focus is also reflected in the modern design of the building and the interior spaces, which not only offer our students geographical proximity to international brands, but also an atmosphere that encourages creative potential and ideas.

Potsdam is a city approx. 25 min by public transport away from Berlin. It was selected in 2017 as one of the 12 digital hubs in Germany. It’s a cluster of world-leading companies in innovation such as the SAP Innovation Centre Network, Oracle, and the Volkswagen Group Future Centre Europe (with designers, experience experts, software developers, and IT professionals working on tomorrow’s mobility).
Our focus on technology, data, and design is reflected in the modern design of our campus’ building and its interior. Our students benefit from geographical proximity to international brands and an atmosphere that promotes creative potential and ideas. Our modern building not only offers enough physical space to develop but also enough mental space to create ideas and concepts. The exchange with fellow students from different fields and countries is important for this. Students at the Innovation Hub have the choice of living in a relaxed atmosphere in Potsdam or in the vibrant German capital of Berlin. The UE Innovation Hub is located in close proximity to Berlin’s city center. The lakes around the area invite students to relax with their peers, especially during the summer semester. Around 25,000 students are based within a 5km radius of the Innovation Hub, creating a vibrant student environment.
Iserlohn
Iserlohn is known as the green city on the edge of the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region – one of the most economically influential regions in Europe. For more than 20 years, UE has cultivated close relationships with local companies. Our partners range from regional, medium-sized companies to internationally recognised brands. In addition to the attractive labour market, Iserlohn offers many opportunities for leisure and cultural activities.

On our campus in Iserlohn, teaching, living, and learning take place in a friendly atmosphere. Short distances and a simple combination of focused learning and living shape the character of our beautiful campus in Western Germany. The relationship between teachers and students is based on trust: Self-initiative, a sense of responsibility, and independence are demanded and encouraged. This creates an optimal climate for personal best performance.
The surroundings make the Iserlohn campus a place of exchange – regionally, nationally, and internationally. On the campus grounds on the banks of the Seilersee, 80 bright flats with bathroom, kitchenette, and internet access serve as accommodation for students. The natural surroundings invite you to relax between lectures. Added Value: in addition to jogging and recreational opportunities, a riding stable, an ice rink, and a fitness studio are located in the direct vicinity of the campus. Students come together for university sports in the gym on campus.

German education in Dubai: We opened our 5th university location with the campus in Dubai. Dubai is our first location outside of Europe and our mission is to bring our 20+ years of expertise in business, technology and design to students in the United Arab Emirates.
